It’s official! The Last Of Us is back for season two, and after becoming HBO’s second most-watched series premiere in more than a decade, it’s safe to say fans are thrilled to have it back.

What will season two of The Last Of Us be about?
While we don’t know how much the second instalment of the series will differ from the game, the official description gives us a brief glimpse of what to expect.
“After five years of peace following the events of the first season, Joel and Ellie’s collective past catches up to them, drawing them into conflict with each other and a world even more dangerous and unpredictable than the one they left behind.”
Despite the teaser being pretty vague, the second game, The Last Of Us Part II takes place five years after the narrative of the original game and follows a 19-year-old Ellie as she hunts down a stranger known as Abby across the country to the ruined outskirts of Seattle.
Who is in the cast of The Last Of Us season two?
Our favourite duo, Joel and Ellie, are officially back for the second season. They are of course played by Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, respectively.
As for the rest of the cast, Kaitlyn Dever takes on the role of Abby, and Young Mazino – who you may recognise from Netflix’s Beef – stars as Jesse.
Joining them is Isabela Merced (Transformers: The Last Knight) as Ellie’s romantic interest, Dina.
