By now, we all kind of know what to expect when it comes to Married at First Sight Australia. Each season brings the usual drama, heartbreak, feuds, and ultimately, one couple swap.
For some seasons, the obligatory couple-swap happens after the show (Duncan and Evelyn, we’re looking at you), for others, the timeline overlaps a bit, and the new relationship plays out on screens (who can forget this year’s reunion episode). But, year in and year out, we expect one couple that wasn’t originally matched to get together.
Which is why it was kind of expected when Jacqui and Clint’s couple-swapping storyline played out this year. With an added surprise of a proposal, the 2025 season seemed to have it all as it came to an end. But now, it looks like we may have another couple-swapping relationship on our hands.
Are Jamie and Eliot together?
In the weeks following the season finale, fans had begun speculating on the relationship between Jamie and Eliot.
Eliot, memorably married two women this season, yet ended his MAFS journey single. Jamie reached the final vows with her husband, Dave, but they split before the reunion episode.
Now, after months of a flirty friendship, new photos have emerged of the couple looking quite cosy, and their fellow cast members are spilling all the tea.
“This isn’t just a fling. They’re very much in it for real,” a fellow MAFS contestant reportedly told Woman’s Day. “Jamie was supposed to stay in separate accommodation on the Gold Coast this week, but she cancelled her plans to spend the week with Eliot instead.
“They really want to make a serious go of this,” the source added. “They’ve gone from mates to full couple mode…It’s been a bit of a whirlwind, but it feels natural for them.”
At this stage, neither Eliot nor Jamie have confirmed the rumours. But that hasn’t stopped fans from supporting the fan-favourite bride.
“They’ve gone all in,” one friend reportedly told Woman’s Day. “There’s a genuine connection here. It’s sweet, a little spicy and totally unexpected. But everyone who knows them can see how happy they are.”
