He may be best known for his show-stopping chocolate sculptures, but renowned chef Amaury Guichon has once again stepped out from behind the bench and up to the judging table – joining beloved MasterChef Australia judge Melissa Leong for the second season of Dessert Masters.
Outside the Dessert Masters kitchen, Guichon’s extraordinary culinary creations have quickly taken over TikTok, with his realistic recreations amassing over 25 million followers and earning commissions from stars such as Rihanna, J Balvin, and Tony Hawk.

Who is Amaury Guichon?
Amaury Guichon is a celebrated French pastry chef who gained fame for his exceptional talent and creativity in the kitchen.
Born in 1991 in the French Alps, Guichon began his culinary journey at the age of 14, training under some of the world’s best chefs. Showcasing his culinary prowess, Guichon has worked in some of the world’s most prestigious kitchens across Europe and the United States – earning his first position as executive chef of Paris’ Hugo & Victor patisserie at the age of 21.
After making a name for himself in the kitchen, the 33-year-old turned his attention to social media in 2016 and after years of sharing his chocolate creations, Guichon has amassed a loyal fan following of over 100 million across his social media channels.
Prior to joining Dessert Masters, Guichon has also hosted a variety of chocolate-based cooking shoes, with Netflix’s School of Chocolate seeing the contestants attempt to recreate some of his most iconic chocolate sculptures.
